Get to know us

We started as 3 dads who like to surf the reefs along the Palos Verdes coastline. We noticed a city contractor was using herbicides along the trails and near the ocean bluffs and we decided we need to do something. After learning more about the risks to our community, we spoke at the city council meetings, met with local representatives, and gathered community support, the city agreed to an organic first approach. From there, the Cove Collective was born. To rally support and awareness, we started monthly beach clean-ups. More people came.

Today we are building community, raising awareness, and mentoring the next generation of stewards of our marine environment.
